We are thrilled to announce publication of the book River Voices: Perspectives on the Presumpscot, now available for purchase at local stores and directly from FOPR. This book has been 10 years in the making and includes chapters and artwork by experts and watershed community members, each of which views the river from a different perspective.
Authors Rob Sanford and Will Plumley teamed up with art editor Michael Shaughnessy to create this book. The book includes two chapters outlining key elements of the work Friends of the Presumpscot River has done for the river and its communities since our founding in 1992.
We invite you to purchase your copy directly from Friends of the Presumpscot River (FOPR). For each book purchased through FOPR, a little more than $10 will benefit FOPR’s continuing work on behalf of the Presumpscot.
Books are now available at the Town Landing Market in Falmouth; Sportsmans Hardware in Westbrook; and Orchard Ridge Specialty Foods in Gorham. The book can also be purchased from North Country Press and Amazon. We encourage local bookstores to order from the distributor, Ingram. Email your order to mailto:info@presumpscotriver.org.
